Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress best famous for her portrayals of Doctor. Sydney Hansen and Dr. Lane Hunter, respectively. She also played the role of detective Stella Bonasera within the CBS drama series CSI: NY. She also received acclaim for her breakthrough television debut role as Eleni Andros Cooper on the CBS soap production 'Guiding light'. The notable film roles she has played are '15 Minutes 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief", and "Snitch". According to reports, she is working with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides (the pair that wrote 'Immortals') on an adaptation of Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography "The Wheel of Life".
